All Afghanistan Migrants Are Not Terrorists!

Mr. Mohammad Saber Nasseri, President of the Afghanistan_America Relations Office, has condemned the attack carried out by an Afghan national against members of the National Guard in Washington, D.C., stating: “One criminal does not represent an entire nation. Afghans are not terrorists.”
He added that Afghans have great respect for the American people—just as he himself lost his fingers in the service and protection of the United States and in the fight against terrorism.

Mr. Nasseri emphasized that efforts are underway to identify individuals who may have ties with the Taliban and to share any findings with the U.S. government.

As the representative of the Afghan community in the United States, he also urged the U.S. government not to treat Afghans unfairly and not to allow this incident to worsen the situation of other Afghanistan migrants.

These remarks come after an incident on Wednesday, November 26, 2025, in which an individual named Rahmanullah Lakanwal attacked two members of the U.S. National Guard.
